Toy Poodle and Miniature Poodle – what are their differences and prices
Poodles are an extremely popular breed due to their intelligence, appearance and versatility. Between the varieties of Poodle, which differ from one another in terms of height, there are no major differences when it comes to appearance and character, as each derives from the Standard Poodle breed. The main characteristic that distinguishes these dogs is therefore size. According to the FCI breed standard, a Toy Poodle should measure between 24 cm and 28 cm. The Miniature Poodle's height is between 28 cm and 35 cm.

They also differ in weight – a Toy Poodle should weigh between 3 kg and 5 kg, whilst for a Miniature Poodle the weight range is between 4 kg and 7 kg. In a word, a Toy Poodle is a scaled-down version of a Miniature Poodle, and a Miniature Poodle is a scaled-down version of a Standard Poodle.
Toy Poodle and Miniature Poodle – temperament
Despite their differences in size, it is important to remember that each Poodle variety is "high-energy", which means it requires considerable physical and mental effort. These are ideal dogs for long walks or various canine sports. Due to their high energy levels, they can be inclined to bark. After a long walk, they also enjoy relaxing on the sofa or by a warm fireplace.

Toy Poodle and Miniature Poodle – price
As for price differences, there is not much of a difference between these two varieties. Prices for Toy Poodle puppies from breeders registered with ZKwP start from around 5,000–6,000 Polish zloty and can reach as much as 14,000 Polish zloty. Everything depends on the breeder, the pairing (pedigree line) and the individual puppy.
Miniature Poodle prices are at a similar level: from 6,000 to around 10,000 Polish zloty.
