Rhodesian Ridgeback originates from South Africa. This is a marvellous breed with a beautiful and harmonious build. The distinctive and characteristic feature of this breed is the ridge on the back. It is formed by hair that grows in the opposite direction to the rest of the coat. Rhodesian Ridgeback is a large dog. Its height can reach 66 cm in bitches and 69 cm in dogs.
At Mrs Kasia's kennel, a new generation of Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies is developing beautifully. Just look at these charming boys. When they complete 8 weeks of age, that is at the beginning of May, along with full vaccinations, health booklet and ZKwP registration certificate, they will be able to leave the kennel. Rhodesian Ridgebacks are exceptionally intelligent dogs, independent, loving movement, and above all they are wonderful family dogs, who will love you with all their heart.
This breed should be chosen by people who love activity. These are active dogs, who love space and long active walks. Rhodesian Ridgeback needs a patient and consistent handler. Its training should be creative and based on play, not on dry commands. Let us not forget that these are hunting dogs with a strong territorial instinct. Early and proper socialisation of the puppy is very important. In dog training you need to invest a lot of work, time and above all your whole heart. Puppies should already be accustomed at the kennel to various situations, sounds, should have contact with humans, children and other dogs. Thanks to this, they will adapt faster in their new home.
