Nasza hodowla
We're a small, non-typical kennel, rather a harmonious ridgeback family, which is perfectly completed by the little, ever cheerful border terrier. Our kennel is registered with the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) and the Serbian Kennel Club (KSS) under number 8152.
My focus is on living with the dogs, breeding top-quality dogs in terms of exterior, health and temperament. To us, dogs are not a 'trade', a business, or a source of income, but a bottomless source of joy. Today, we have the fourth generation of our own rhodesian ridgebacks, which makes me extremely happy and proud.
Since the very beginning, I have insisted on dog shows as I believe every serious breeder is obligated to prove the quality of their dogs in shows. All my dogs have achieved admirable show results in the country and abroad - they are champions of multiple countries (multinational champions), international champions (C.I.B.), multi grand champions, multiple breed and group winners, derby winners, Crufts qualification holders etc.
As I believe that every 21st century breeder needs to base their breeding on science and basic postulates of the genetics in order for the breed to keep the exterior stipulated by the breed standard, and in order to prevent breed-specific genetically inherited diseases, all my dogs have underwent all breed-specific genetic and health tests in Europe's most eminent labs.
I am not a commercial breeder and I do not have litters often. I only breed my dogs when I plan to leave a puppy for myself and when I believe that a planned breeding will positively contribute to the breed. Therefore, I'm very strict and picky when it comes to choosing right males for my females, and letting my male sire litters.
Shows only make a small part of our lives. The dogs are first and foremost members of our family. We lead an active lifestyle with our dogs, allowing them to develop and satisfy their natural needs and instincts. Only an active ridgeback is a happy ridgeback and that's why my dogs enjoy daily long walks, hiking, playing, swimming, playing fetch and frisbee. They're also loyal companions on every vacation and trip.
